Low-kickback chain
STIHL recommends green-labeled, low-kickback chain and reduced-kickback guide bars for all users. Low kickback does not mean no kickback.
Carbide-chain sharpening: This chain must be resharpened with a formed diamond grinding wheel. Contact us if you need help arranging the correct sharpening service.
Use only a saw, guide bar and chain combination specified by the equipment manufacturer. Confirm the chain pitch also matches the drive sprocket; bar length alone does not establish compatibility.
