Small gasoline engines · construction & industry

Small-engine repair for construction and industrial equipment.

The brand on the machine is not always the brand on its engine. Our Garland shop diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds and swaps small gasoline engines for commercial customers across DFW and North Texas.

Engine work beyond lawn equipment.

We work on small air-cooled gasoline engines in construction, industrial and specialized commercial equipment. This page concerns the engine powering the machine—not a promise of complete heavy-equipment, diesel or hydraulic-system repair.

Machines and applications we evaluate.

Our engine work includes concrete mixers, road-striping machines, lifts, compressors, insulation machines, chippers and stump grinders. Truck- and van-mounted equipment may also be evaluated. Call with the machine and engine details to confirm the work we can take in.

Diagnosis, repair, rebuilding and swaps.

We diagnose engine problems and discuss repair or rebuilding based on condition and parts availability. If replacement is appropriate, the shaft, mounting, rotation, controls, exhaust clearance and equipment requirements must be reviewed. Matching horsepower alone does not establish compatibility.

The machine—or the engine separately.

Call to discuss whether to bring the complete equipment, truck or van, or the engine separately for bench repair or rebuilding. We have room at our Garland shop for truck- and van-mounted work, but arrange the visit first so we can discuss access and scheduling.

Plan your visit to Garland.

Customers travel from across DFW and North Texas for specialized engine work. Before making the trip, contact us with identification, symptoms and any previous repair history. Diagnosis, parts availability and the work required determine timing.

Construction engine service questions

Do you work on engines outside lawn equipment?

Yes. Our shop services small air-cooled gasoline engines used in construction, industrial and specialized commercial equipment. Call to confirm your specific machine and engine.

Do you need the machine numbers or engine numbers?

Both. Equipment identification and complete engine identification help determine the parts and installation requirements.

Can I bring an engine separately?

Call first. We can discuss bringing an engine separately for bench repair or rebuilding, or bringing the machine when the installation needs to be evaluated.
