All three numbers matter
PITCH. GAUGE. DRIVE LINKS.
Bar length helps you search, but it does not identify the chain by itself. Verify all three numbers before purchasing.
Always match pitch, gauge and drive-link count to the old chain, guide bar or owner’s manual.
Before you use this chain
WARNING: Kickback and improper chainsaw use can cause serious or fatal injury. Before use, read, understand and follow the operating and safety instructions in your saw’s manual. These notices do not replace that manual.
Warning: increased kickback risk
This yellow-labeled chain has an increased risk of kickback injury. It is intended only for people with extraordinary cutting needs, experience and specialized training for dealing with kickback.
Special-use ripping chain: Intended primarily for professional use with small sawmills. Its filing angle is 10 degrees; follow the chain’s sharpening instructions rather than a general-purpose chain setting.
Use only a saw, guide bar and chain combination specified by the equipment manufacturer. Confirm the chain pitch also matches the drive sprocket; bar length alone does not establish compatibility.
